I remember back in the sixties, Kenny and I were working passenger trains together. We were also into slot car racing. No matter what the weather was like we would drive to Junction City and race slot cars and of course Kenny would always win. If it had four wheels he would win. At that same slot car track they held a 24 hour race. Pat brought all kinds of food for everyone, cabbage burgers and all the trimmings. And of course Kenny won.
Kenny was especially known for his "secret" for making a car go faster than all others. I don't know if anyone ever knew his secret. Fun memories!.

I met Kenny when my husband was stationed at Ft. Riley and we lived in Herington. He was such a character. I know that the community has suffered a great loss. My prayers to Kenny's family.

Janet, Ronnie, Branden & Tishamy,
I was so sorry to hear about your dad and grandfather's passing. Life is unfair and always takes loved ones too soon. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I have such special memories of your family.

I am so sorry for your loss. Dad always talked so highly of your dad and all of the great times and great successes they shared. I enjoyed getting to know your dad even more in the last few years. He was so funny and always made me laugh. He was a great guy and I will miss him.
Take comfort in your memories. They are one of God's greatest gifts to us.

We will miss getting to visit with Kenny during the year and will miss seeing him among the campers at the lake. I knew your mother as well and they both were the hardest working folks I have ever met before in my life. May their unity once again be heavenly. He talked of her often in our conversations and I know how much he missed her. RIP Kenny!

Sorry to hear of Kenny's passing. Our thoughts and sympathy are with you.
I will always remember living across the street and Kenny working on his cars day and night when he was home. Also the fun we all had together being neighbors and his helping the boys when they needed assistance.
He will be missed by a lot of friends as well as the family.
