Memories & Condolences

My condolences to the family. The death of a loved one is the most difficult thing that we deal with. I would like to take this time to express my condolences to you for your loss. May you find comfort in Jehovah God's word, the Bible. Psalms 83:18 The Bible promises: "the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. "
John 5:28,29. Jesus Christ promised that millions now dead will live again on this earth and have the prospect of remaining on it forever.
Isaiah 35:5,6

I'm so sad to hear about Lisa. We were good friends in junior high and I have many good memories of her. I think several girls would remember Lisa's birthday party where we all rode in a convertible to see the movie "Carrie" - what fun we had! Although we grew apart and did not stay in touch, I have thought about her many times over the years. I had always hoped to meet up with her again someday. My sincere condolences to her family.

Lisa was a neighbor to my parents, here in Herington. My parents thought of her as their daughter. They loved cooking for an Army and sent Lisa home with tons of food. They loved her and loved Kenneth and her grandchildren the same. The big deep freezer with ice cream bars and children coming in and out of the house, with please and thank yous.
Lisa was so honest, hard working, caring and kind. Her smile so contagious and you knew every time you ran into her there would be pure laughter.
Her life was taken way too soon. She still had lots to give. She was such a hard worker. She was someone whom others could admire for her many contributions to society.
I will never understand the good lords plans for us, but I do know that he has greeted her with open arms and she is flying high with the angels.
RIP Lisa.. Thanking of her family during this hard time in their lives. Keep her memory alive...

I was a close friend to Lisa after moving from Great Bend to Ellinwood. I ran around with her alot my Senior yr of '83. Literally alot! We played frisbee at the Ellinwood park/bandshell on Main st. I would say we were quite GREAT at it, as we played for hrs, I know that when we played, me & her could throw back & forth for 20-30 minutes at times without missing! I still play frisbee to this day, & have thought of her quite often when I had. Its a given now...I will ALWAYS think of her when I play!
I also had a couple of nick names I called her when we were young. I would yell "Lisa A" or call her "L.A. woman"! So, when I hear the song "L.A. Woman"... again I will think of her!
Everybody mentions her smile Yes, she had a BEAUTIFUL one, along with her laugh! I always LOVED her voice! She was so fun to be around!
She was so NICE! But she could be a firecracker if anybody set her off or if they needed help, she was there to defend 'em!
I really wished I could be there for her service, but I live in Seattle & only make it back to see family/friends at times. I really wished I'd only tried harder to find her throughout these years gone by. I did search Facebook, but was unsuccessful, I know a few of our friends are not on it!
Come Monday night my friend, my mind will be there.
RIP my dear friend Lisa! I love YOU so much!

Our deepest condolences to you kiddos! She is watching over you now forever. Lisa was a good friend to Gary. She seemed to always make time whether she had time or not. I'll miss her smile and her.

My heart goes out to Lisa's family, she was an amazing lady who always seemed to be smiling even when the world seemed to be falling down around her. She made the best of everything thrown at her. She was a friend oof mine and i miss her. She could always cheer me up or at least put a smile oon my face. Hopefully she has decided to slow down and relax now, but knowing her......she's running circles around everyone up there.
