Ruth N. Lackman, 92, of Sedgwick, died February 20, 2015, at the Diversicare of Sedgwick, Kansas. She was born February 6, 1923, at Philadelphia, PA,
the daughter of John and Lena (Maddock) Ford. Mrs. Lackman was a retired
waitress and worked for Tiffany’s Restaurant and Diner in Philadelphia.
An inurnment service will be at a later date in Pennsylvania. The Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Herington Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by three sons: Albert Shade, Jr. of Council Grove and his wife Lee Shay-Shade of Burdick, Roy Shade (wife-Susan) of Council Grove, Mike Shade(wife-Pat) of Newtown, PA, 6 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Albert Shade, Sr., and her second husband Frederick “Bud” Lackman.
