Obituary for – Frances (Sellin) McKinney, 82

Frances Marie (Sellin) McKinney, 82, of Vermillion, SD, former resident of White City, died Friday, January 30th, 2015, at the Sanford Hospital, Vermillion, SD. She was born near Hope, KS, on Thursday, March 24, 1932, the daughter of Walter Carl & Mary (Helbach) Sellin.

Graveside Service will be held at 11:00AM, Tuesday, February 3rd, 2015, at the Sunset Hill Cemetery, Herington, with Rev. Troy Slater officiating. The Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Herington Chapel, is assisting with local services.

Mrs. McKinney was a homemaker. She also worked as a cook White City Schools, and also worked at the Rock Springs 4-H Center for many years.

Married William Jerald McKinney of Prattville, Alabama, on July 21, 1957; he survives of Vermillion. She is also survived by two (2) daughters: Marsha McKinney (Myron Ptak) of Vermillion, and Melisa Jones of Chandler, AZ; a grandson Justin Campbell (wife-Kim); two (2) granddaughters: Makayla & Gabriella; and two (2) sisters: Thelma Muehlenburg, and Joyce Sellin.

She is preceded in death by her brother Jerry Sellin (04/27/2007), her sister Delores Grantham (11/16/1996), and her parents.
