Obituary for – Treva C. Kellogg, 93
Treva C. Kellogg, 93, of Herington, died Tuesday, June 10th, 2014, at the Peabody Living Center, Peabody, KS. She was born February 18, 1921, in White City, the daughter of William W and Rosa (Blum) Adam.
Family will receive friends Friday evening June 13th, 2014, at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Herington Chapel, from 7pm until 8pm, when Treva will lay in-state.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00AM Friday, June 20, 2014, at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Herington Chapel; with Rev. Glenn Raw officiating. Inurnment will follow the service at the Lost Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Kellogg was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of God, Herington. She enjoyed attending and the fellowship of the Herington Senior Citizens Center on west Main Street; while her health permitted.
She is survived by her daughter Peggy Estey of Florence, a brother Howard Adam of Garden City, a sister Rose Marie King of Merriam, KS, 8 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by a daughter Rose Zinn (01/03/2012), a son Wm “Bill” Kellogg (09/12/1998), five (5) brothers (Merle Adam, Kenneth Adam, Dale Adam, Percy Adam, Harold Adam), two (2) sisters (Lois Kemph & Elva Langhofer), a granddaughter (Jerilyn), and her parents.
