Marlin G. Miser, 48, of (Diamond Springs) Burdick, died Saturday, December 14th, 2013, result of an automobile accident east of Herington. He was born Saturday, July 17, 1965, at Council Grove, the son of Wayne L. and Mary Lou (Mickey) Miser.
Funeral Service will be Thursday morning, December 19th, 2013, at the Saffordville Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Four Mile Cemetery.
Mr. Miser was Director of Transportation at EVCO of Emporia. He was a member of the Saffordville Methodist Church, and he loved farming.
He married Stacie L. VanSickle on June 26, 2003; she survives of the home. He is survived by two (2) daughters: Lacey Michelle (Miser) Day (husband-Mitchell) of Moundridge, and Emily Elaine Miser (age-8) of the home, and a son Wyatt Eldon Miser (age-5) of the home. He is also survived by three (3) brothers: Vernon Miser of Emporia, Eldon Miser (wife-Louisa) of Wilsey, and Gary Miser (wife-Erica) of Madison, KS; three (3) sisters: Louise Lemon (husband-Ray) of Kansas City, KS, Louene Bacon (friend-Ron) of Concordia, and Lou Ann Schrader (husband-Ben) of Olathe; and a brother-in-law Kelsey Harding (wife-Candice) of Diamond Springs.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Lois Harding, and his nephew Konley Harding.
