Steven J. Hill, 66, lifelong resident of Salina, died Sunday, November 24th, 2013, at his home. He was born Tuesday, March 11, 1947, at Salina, the son of LeRoy and Rosemary (Bates) Hill.
A Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday morning, November 30th, 2013, at the United Methodist Church, Woodbine, with Rev. Carol Moore-Ramey officiating. Inurnment will be in the Woodbine Cemetery.
Mr. Hill owned and operated the Hill Auto Body Shop in Salina. He served in the US Army in Vietnam as a SP4 with HHC, 3d BN, 10th INF DIV. He attended the Woodbine Methodist Church.
He married Gloria M. Middleton on March 15, 1970, at the Woodbine Methodist Church; she survives. He is also survived by a son Jason Hill (wife-Carrie) of Woodbine; Sharalyn Davis (husband-Jon) of Salina; two (2) brothers: James Hill, Sr. (wife-Sandy), and Allen Hill (wife-Margaret) both of Salina; and six (6) grandchildren (Tyler, Brianna, & Alice Hill, Aubrey Sams, and Chaylen & Bane Davis).
He is preceded in death by his sister Susan McConnell, and his parents.
