Philip M. Wilmore, 81, of White City, died Wednesday, January 30th, 2013, at the Morris County Hospital in Council Grove. He was born on October 30, 1931, at Halstead, the son of Franklin and Evelyn (Consour) Wilmore.

Private family services will be held at a future date. The Penwell- Gabel Funeral Home & Crematory, Herington Chapel, are assisting with arrangements.

Mr. Wilmore was a carpenter and home builder in Junction City for many years. He served in the U.S. Army, infantry division, as sergeant first class, during the Korean War. Graduated from Halstead High School.

Survived by three (3) sons: Marshall Wilmore (wife-Glenda) of Herington, Randy Wilmore (wife-Sandra) & Matthew Wilmore (wife-
Deneen), both of White City, a daughter Jeanene Edwards (husband-Steve) of Leavenworth, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials to the donor’s choice; and may be sent in care of the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Herington Chapel, 404 S. Broadway, Herington.
