OBITUARY FOR – Wm B “Bill” Haage, 61
William B. Haage, 61, of Hutchinson, died Sunday, January 13th, 2013, at his residence. He was born on June 9, 1951, at Herington, the second of three (3) children of J. Bryan and Helen V. (Kendall) Haage.
Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm, Friday, January 18th, 2013, at the First Baptist Church, Herington, with Rev. Darrell Geist officiating; burial will follow at the Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 1pm until time of service at the church; and Thursday from 5pm until 7pm at the Penwell-Gabel’s Hutchinson Chapel, 300 E 30th Street, Hutchinson.
Mr. Haage was licensed in kinesiology and reflexology, and was beginning his practice in Hutchinson; and while studying worked part-time for Dollar General in Hutchinson. He began working in advertising & printing, and made electronic parts. He worked for the City of Herington, with the Street Department, after high school. Then attended Salina Area VoTech; later worked for Kansas Jack of McPherson, and Invalco of Hutchinson and Roberts Printing. He graduated from Herington High School with the class of 1969.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bryan Haage, on July 11, 2007.
Survived by his mother Helen Haage, his sister Connie Haage, and his brother Robt. “Bobby” Haage, all of Herington.
