Joe Ford, 66, of Chanute, KS passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in Chanute.

Joe was born Neodesha, KS on October 29, 1945 the son of Dayton and Marie (Kimzey) Ford. He graduated from NCCC with an Associate’s Degree.

He worked at Thermoid in Chanute for several years.

Joe is survived by six siblings, Edward Ford of Humboldt, KS, Myrl and Maurine Ford of Humboldt, KS, Agnes and Leo Segard of Wichita, KS, Rex and Scarlett Ford of Tecumseh, KS, Roger Ford of Hazelwood, MO, and Neil and Patricia Ford of Chanute, KS; three sister-in-laws, Charlene Ford, Patsy Ford, and Marie Ford; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Douglas, Ray, Earl, and Dan Ford; and two sister-in-laws, Thelma Ford and Evelyn Ford.

Cremation has taken place.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Memorials in his name may be made to The American Cancer Society and may be left with the funeral home.
