OBITUARY for – Frances A. Fudge, 91
Frances A Fudge, 91, of Herington, departed this life, Thursday, July 9th, 2015, at Herington Municipal Hospital. She was born on July 27, 1923, at Linn, Kansas, the daughter of Jim and Mary M. (Oestreich) Peterson.
Mrs. Fudge was a devoted wife and loving mother to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She served on the financial board of the Herington Senior Center. She was a faithful member of the Baptist Church. She enjoyed dancing.
She married Glen Fudge on Feb. 20, 1949, at Columbus, KS, he preceded her in death on April 27, 2008. She is also preceded in death by a daughter Linda Richeson, May 22, 2011, two sisters Lucille Vandalsem, Ruth McReynolds, a brother Lloyd Peterson, and her parents.
She is survived by her children Debbie Stewart of Herington, Janetta Messmer (husband-Ray) of Houston, TX, a son Stanley Fudge (wife-Patti) of Gulf Port, MS, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
