Kim David Olsen, 67, of Herington, former longtime resident of Wichita, died Friday, May 15th, 2015, at the Medicalodges of Herington. He was born on Monday, April 19, 1948, at Marion, son of Warren W. and Laura (Beisel) Olsen.
Funeral service will be 1:30PM, Tuesday, May 19th, 2015, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Herington, with Pastor Bill Peterson, officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Tuesday, from 12:30pm until 1:30pm. Burial will follow at the Sunset Hill Cemetery, Herington.
Mr. Olsen worked at Star Lumber Company, Wichita, until July 2012. He graduated from Herington High School with the class of 1966, then received his Bachelor of Arts Degree, from Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, from Wichita State University in 1970. He worked as a caregiver in Wichita until he started at Star Lumber Company.
He was preceded in death by his father Warren on March 11, 2006.
Survived by his mother Laura Olsen, and his faithful brother William “Bill” Olsen both of Herington.
