Carol L. Langhofer, 61, of Herington, died Friday evening, April 17th, 2015, at her home with her family by her side. She was born July 20th, 1953, at Herington, the daughter of Darrell E. and V. Jane (Johnson) Maybee.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 25, 2015, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Herington; with Pastor Bill Peterson officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Sunset Hill Cemetery, Herington. The Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home & Crematory, Herington Chapel, is assisting family.
Mrs. Langhofer was a homemaker. She also worked for Stroda Plumbing as an office clerk. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Herington. She graduated from Herington High School with the class of 1971.
Married Wayne D. Langhofer on April 3, 1974, in Miami, OK; he survives of the home. Survived by a daughter Shelly Langhofer of Herington; step-daughter LaTisha Bild of Salem, OR; a brother Mark Maybee (Pam) of Woodbine; two (2) sisters: Mary Jane Laudemann (Ron) of White City, and Betty Martin (Brad) of Council Grove; and five (5) grandchildren (Presley Idleman, Easton Idleman, Kennedy Idleman, Anthony Carlisle, Kailey Bild).
She is preceded in death by her brother Ronald Maybee (04/01/2007), and her parents.
